Hackedoff used to be a sheep-man, but since his move to the Antipodes his ardour is fired by Skippy and her ilk.
Yes, so what :-? And your point is? :o

Kangaroos are more elite, however.
It says so on page three of the pamphlet "Welcome Down Under, You Pommy Bastard" issued to all immigrants to make us feel at home
"Tut tut chut tut,"
"What`s that, Skip, Kangaroo poo is much harder than sheep poo. Don`t you think I know that"
"Tut tut chat tut"
"Don`t you start Skip. It`s bad enough when `er indoors kicks off without you joining in"

Marsupials, sarcastic or what

Negative Tab

Nigel Foster was born on St Patrick's Day 1943. He grew up and was educated in London, and then joined the Army, serving in the Intelligence Corps, after working briefly in the pop industry. He subsequently carried out Commando training with the Royal Marines, and later emigrated to Canada.

Gawd strewth, not this old chesnut again.

This has been kicked to death in every way imaginable throughout this forum and every bar and mess in the land.

Who gives a toss, they do their thing, and history says they are good at what they do. We do our thing and likewise history tells the tale. The Catering Corps feed the army and they are OK at what they do.

Give it a rest, if you must compare things, compare like with like, Royal and Elmers USMC, UK SAS with Aussie SAS, British 16 year old muppet with his french counterpart etc.

Rob, did you actually read the book or did you just look at the pretty pictures?

As for the Beer question, i'd say that the British stuff is the 'ardest. Newcy Broon'll make you a god damn sexual tyrannosaurus... just like me ;)

None of the German, Dutch or British beers are 'Best' .....

It's Newcastle man - Ah'v said this before.... R yez deef ?

Threads like these - young Garland - are destructive....
The bottom line is that all of these fine arms of the Service have to serve
and compliment each other when the money is down.
The end result is usually good.....

Most of us have had experience with 'the other' regiments and arms in question and we have no problems in giving credit where it's due....

Any relation to Chris ?

Chunky - 22's skiing was every bit as elegant as the Marines'....
Looked like the retreat from Moscow ! ( Napoleons that is )....
Bodies, holes and blood everywhere....
Poetry in motion ....

All the best

I think you'll find that the dutch have a reasonable claim in the best beer stakes.

Re my last ..... I say again ....

"have to serve and compliment each other when the money is down. "

I DID mean complement each other - not compliment each other......

Perish the thought that we should pay each other compliments - Mwahh.

CE - None of the ordinary beer produced within YOUR European Community is better than 4.5% ..... Norway is still outside but we have to drink the same guff...

Now - when I was a lad and the Newcastle's lunatic broth was 12%
Now - those were the days.... ( Stones was only 10% ).

AND - no-one can persuade me that they had horses down the mines !

Last night I discovered a new drink, all with sexual names, you buy them in test tubes and drink them straight from that, a £ a chuck and your soon on your way to a slap when you ask the bar maid for a blow job (one of the drinks) I ended up having numerous blow jobs lots and lots of foreplay and some sex on the beach...
