Are there any Republican Guards on the forum who could take this question please?! No? It looks as if a 'tale ban' is in force!

It's RAF Craig.

There was some very impressive footage of HE being used and then when the rags ran for it, they experienced airburst! Ouch 8)

Daisy Cutters

Post by Bruce McDonald »

Yes I am quite sure that the the americans do have the dasiy cutter in their arsenal along side their new "mother of all bombs", but at the moment it has not been used, and is primarily a "shock and awe" weapon.

Cheers for that Pilgrim.

Lets hope Jay spots that, and changes the logo at the bottom of these forum pages. Does that mean we should be showing the Royal Marines as 'R.M.', and the Royal Navy as 'R.N.' ?

(Actually Pilgrim, it's actually)

Oh 'ell (pardon the pun, Derek)

We do not need to be too pedantic.
I know, and you know what raf, RAF and R.A.F. mean. One and the same!

I could sit and mark most of the posts in this and many other forums as if they were test papers. It would take up hours of my valuable time. Probably raf was done for speed, not accuracy.

Let's keep it friendly (towards each other.)

Mark.

P.S.
Actually, actualy was due to my ignorance. Thought only one 'l'.

Welcome to Pedant`s Corner, Soldierblue, you are short of an "r" in your signature. As I said elsewhere, "treat everyday as you last", wise words indeed! If I`d have known I was going to last this long etc etc.

Is Daisy Cutter-Bombs that gel from Cheltenam Ladies College indoor beach volley-ball team, got sent down from Oxford for being "in flagrente" with one of the Dons(female) in the quad at Kings, niece of Octavia and Sheldrake Cutter-Bombs of Russel Square?
Really :o
Thought so.
Tell her I want me shreddies back :P

Immediately after the cessation of hostilities and the return of Galloway to Glasgow. Now there's someone who should experience a tad of HE. 8)

I thought they were called Daisy Cutter after the woman that designed them. Her sister designs Lawn Mowers and is called Grass Cutter, I can't remeber the name of the sister that designed surgical tools for the jewish faith though... might have been Knobby or something like that.
