Recruit training now 9 weeks!!!!!

Post by Mr Leigh »

Hi there, does anyone know what is done with the extra 2 weeks of recruit training which came into force for april. Does anybody know if it includes presentation of projects in front of the whole recruit intake, the reason i ask this is because i suffer from a slight stammer and while talking in groups of a dozen or so is fine i feel that in front of 120 it may well make an appearance. I would be grateful if anyone could put me at all in the picture, I feel that i would be able to cope well with all other aspects of recruit training without problem. :)

Hey mate,

I`ve heard that recruit training at RAF Halton has been expanded simply to extend the amount of time given over to GDT/feild training. Previously the final ex was thaught to be far too short, and people were getting through without using proper feild skills - Ie avoiding cooking by eating loads of mars bars, etc. I`m not sure about the presentaion through.

Sven...... while your on site.... perhaps you can answer the following question that I feel sure the whole membership is dying to ask but are too scared to do so...... so it leaves me to ask............. What in Buggeries name is KIT-SNIFFING  One of the intrests you have listed in your profile, along with TA and Fitness?
Please tell and elaborate, is this a new form of sexual deviance, certainly one that I appear to have missed. Does it involve the purchase of Ladies undergarments, new or soiled......please tell....we ALL stand (sit) AGGOGED

Mike,
Kit-sniffing is certainly not a sexual devience, and should not include the purchase of womens undergarments soiled or otherwise. It`s a phrase coined by mates of mine to refer to my habbit of buying new - (and to be fair, unnessasary) items of Kit.
