I want to join
An Eskimo is driving through Wales when his car breaks down. As he's looking under the bonnet a friendly Welshman comes over to help. Taffy (Ross) has a look and say's to the Eskimo, "I think you've blown your seal mate"
The Eskimo says,
"So what you f@#k sheep"
Still at least no welshman supports the "Mighty" Norwich F.C........eh Ross?

Gattle,
Do not quit your A'levels! in fact it would probably go against you in your RM interview as it show's a lack of commitment.
The RM's are thinking soldiers so get youeself an education. Being only 16, the chances are you will find exceedingly hard to stay motivated during your training. My advice to you is to gain some life experiance and maturity before applying.
Posting comments like getting big will help me get into bars and stuff shows that your lavking in maturity, I used to manage nightclubs and being big doesnt make you look over 18! Please dont be so nieve as to think that having biceps is a form of identification...... you'll still need to show your passport! I saw under age people like you every weekend for six years and nine times out of ten you can spot them a mile off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember training for the Marines ultimately means your willing to laydown your life for Queen and country. You need to be able to rely on the other bootnecks, and I for one would be very worried having to put my life and trust in the hands of someone with your maturity.
Read the threads and see the dedication to succeed, get yourself some videos containing life footage from the falklands etc then seriously consider if its really for you!
War aint like Army games in the park! Valuable lives are lost! People suffer and people die!

The only thing that stops your body before you pass out is your mind. Never give in!

What I said at first about going into clubs was just a sort of joke, although it would be quite cool to be able to get big. I am pretty sure that I want to join, but before I do, I will think long and hard. Whatever I decide to do, whether its RAF or Marines, I will give it 100%, cos I hate failing.
Im not just doing it to have a good social life, but its just one of the benifits that MIGHT come with it.
