Books on the special forces

Post by j90 »

Whats your favourite book on special forces?

Just thought I would get the conversation rolling.

Mine would probably be "first into action" or "Black water" (maybe Dark water can't remember)

Book with a slightly different slant;

Quiet Soldier by Adam Ballinger

Quite lightweight but interesting nonetheless.

There's been many people taking about Duncan Falconer's "first into action". I saw another book by him, I havent read it and can't remember the name, anyone seen it?

rabby, you might be thinking of "the operator", a fiction book by Falconer. Not read it, neither do I intend too.

Joe,

You may be thinking of The Operators, by James Rennie.
Published by Century in 1996.
A book about 14 Int.

I believe Duncan Falconers latest book is called The Hostage.

Well done Rover! :D
Just read a wee bit about "The Hostage". A work of Fiction, have you read it? Is it worth looking at?

Rabby,

Have only seen a general outline of the book.
Although having read First into Action I will be interested to see how Duncan Falconers first fiction book turns out.
