why does everyone seem to hate them so much?

i appreciated they do not do such a frontline role as the paras, or RM.
But thats not their role, and surley they are good at what they do actually do?

No one disagrees that they are good at what they do, but there main training is towards airfield defence. Now they they now do a lot of other work as well, but the Para's and the RM consider that their training is harder than RAF Regiment and more people fail to complete the Para's Training and the RM's than any other unit as they they only chosse the best men from each cadre.

You say "Potayta", we say "Potaytoe"
"Chips", "Crisps"
"Fries", "Chips"
"Let's call the whole thing off...." etc

"Captilize", "Capitalise"
"Color", "Colour"
"Let's not argue amongst ourselves" etc

(It IS English we are speaking/typing so OUR version is CORRECT!!)

Your right of course:) I was just messing around, I'm always defending our spelling, pronunciation etc. the American guy's I work with always mess with me about pronunciation or spelling and I always end up arguing with them about how they totally jacked the language up
