Fan & welsh hills are actually a bit of a bimble for the legs if you've done any proper 2000m+ mountains - wouldn't fancy doing it with that sodding stretcher though!

However, the massive BUT:

If your mates haven't done any hill work at all, it's just not going to be in their legs. They'll be f@#k after the first few bumps. Also, Brecons weather can be a bit of a challenge - was there this w/e enjoying horizontal rain and near-gale force winds...16 stone large blokes with bergans on leaning 70 degrees into the wind just to stay upright. You don't move too fast in that kind of weather.

Oh, that and: 75miles in 2 days = 120k. At this time of year, you get approx 12 hours daylight to move in. That's 5kph...that would be 1kph faster than SAS move.

Either they are following a really easy road the entire way, or they aren't carrying any weight. Otherwise, don't really see it happening.

No worries mate, they are all experts at Call Of Duty 4. The second you spawn they know where you are on the map because they recognise it! Thats uber hardcore skills that

Well the lads claim to have done it. No way in a million years they did though!

They had no idea about map reading, they had no fitness, no hills experience, no idea about what to take, no idea about what to wear or the suitable layers to have on.

Like I said, they'll never admit it, but there is NO way they did it.

Did they end up with blisters in the end, or any other 'trophies' of what they put their bodies through? Walking around like 70 year old men for a day or so, unable to get their bruised bodies up or down a set of stairs? Some form of proof? (Receipts from the buses that they ended up catching...) :D
