fitness test

Post by newbie »

Hi

I really want to join the RAF so i want to get my fitness upto scratch, im reluctant to go to the AFCO and fill in the application form just yet because i dont want them to turn round and say my fitness test is in 3 wks. :-? Does anyone know what sort of time scale it takes from initial application to the fitness test???

when i look back to when i had my fitness test i was sooooooo unfit when i did it but honest it was pure determination and the will of wanting to be in the raf that got me through, if your just going got aircrew its only a mile and a half on a tredmill

IMO the PJFT is really easy. i nearly went flying off the treadmill because i wasnt used to running on them and still done it under 10mins hehe
