Thank you. I'm waiting for the information pack I requested a week ago (thanks to postal strikes I guess). Once I have it I will contact the local Office (Brighton for me).harry hackedoff wrote: We often say this to potential recruits, Zheka and in your case it`s more relevant. Go to the Armed Forces Career Office in your town and have a chat with the Staff there. Good luck with it.

Hello
Well I went to the Brighton recruitment office today
Had a chat with a sergeant who was very helpful.
I have got some more information, couple of forms to fill in, information on barb test and 3 months training program.
I feel more confident about it now and think I can really do it, provided I pass the medical. Aiming for infantry at the moment, but if I feel very good about my fitness in couple of months I will have a look at my options again.
My wife is being very supportive as well
I also just finished reading book "Squaddie: A Soldier's Story" by Steven McLaughlin. Very good, interesting reading.
Basically feeling positive
By the way, do I need to register again to be able to post in the fitness and training forum?
