Hi Greg,
You're not the only person in the world who's made a few mistakes because of a woman. The description 'snakes with tits' fits quite a few of them (though not all, before anyone accuses me of sexism).

I'm glad to hear that you've got your life back on track, though I can well understand if you feel disappointed about leaving the Marines.

Are you set on staying in NZ now? Perhaps you could join the NZ TA? It would give you an outlet for your military enthusiasm, and let you keep what sounds like a decent job at the same time. As far as I'm aware you don't need to be a NZ citizen to join as long as you have permanent resident status.

Regards

Heyup Greg,
I well remember you posting last time you were on here.
It all seems a tad drastic mate. You furked up big style, they were right you were wrong, etc etc.
Maybe you should try higher up the food chain mate. :-? 4RAR is good, it`s just not really the same is it?
PM me the details/dates etc. Who knows

Heyup Greg,

Where did you serve as a Marine if you don't mind me asking?

I'm proud of what I've become the main thing is to learn from experiences and never give up, never give in.........

........so remember if you want to do something get out there and do it!
So when is it you're due back at Lympstone then?

As mentioned - I've tried and tried again to get back in but the response is the same......time for new horizons.......

I still carry the same mentality though - if I'm going to do something I'll either be the best at it (or if not) I'll give it my all......

Shame I was wreckless in my slightly younger years but ohwell...

Greg
Can you edit your initial post?, and just above the photo of you in rig replace the rank of Mne with that of Rct.
After all you never made it to the exalted rank of Marine.

Greg,

Women eh? Sounds like a nightmare.

It sounds like there's some stuff eating away at you, hopefully not too much.
If you've moved on and are sincerely happy to crack on back home and get stuck into 4RAR then great. If you want to get back to GB and have another crack at joining then I have found in times when I have got myself in world of bother, a sincere, articulate and pertinent letter can go a very long way. Your old troop commander, or a SNCO who may remember you? Start small ask to have another chance at PRMC. Leave out the more unsavoury details of your innitial post but write with the same conviction.

There are doubtless people on here better placed to advise you.
Good luck for the future.

Yours

Tom
