fitness for pgac

IM looking to join the raf regiment and im trying to keep myself fit but i was wondering how fit do you need to be to pass the pgac, are they looking for you to be super fit or have a decent level of fitness.

Hi Beed,
Try this link It gives you the basic fitness standards but you will be told what to work on at the end of the course. My advice is to train and better the times so you know you can make it!

Just make sure you can run 3 miles in 21 minutes or so

Lots of pressups(see regt site for specific type of pressup), situps and interval/fartlek training is a GREAT method of getting fit quickly

Also, use the search function as its a superb tool. alot of people before yourself have asked this question!

Fitness for PGAC is pretty poor really.....they mostly focus on your mental power on the course rather than physical ablitiles like prmc, haha enjoy your nice little introduction to bergan marching BTW. ;)
