Family forums

Post by Clown »

Hi people,

My fella will be going away next year for six months so what I have decided to do is set up a family forums site for all families of men and women in the forces. My aim is to have forums where men and women in the forces (that have access to a computer) can come and chat to there families and loved ones. and also have a support network for any family member that is finiding things hard to cope with. Is that somehting you guys would be interested in?? I have spoke to military forums and they are happy for me to expand ont this one topic. Its just whether people would want something like that I need to know if it is worth doing for people, as it will be completly free.

Le me know what you think.

Surely if you have a computer, or access to a computer you would email your family direct and not go through a public forum. As for welfare facilities many camps offer this service as par the course.

Which indeed is true, it was more for the spouses to talk to other spouses if they did not want to get involved with these welfare facilities, being an army brat as well I know my mum didn't always like joining in. But hey if its not worth doing then I appreciate you letting me know.
