Dont tell the tankies who patrolled the streets of N.I.since the troubles started. I would have thought any unit available will go warfighting these days due to the CUTSeven if they are not upto strengththey can be brought up pretty quick nowadays

the israelis did that as a hostage rescue so maybe not completely impossible. Now those israelis know how to deal with terrorists when they take hostages

I thought there were only 3 reg para btlns and 1 reserve? Thats quite interesting anyway didnt know they had armoured recce

I know it sounds funny but I was in the CCF and ACF as a PI so spent a lot of time w/ the PWRR and saw them do it once... Dunno if it was just to see f it could be done but did see their Herc land and their landies come flying out the back... looked cool but i did think it was a stupid idea

Isn't the armoured Recce and attached unit, from like the Blues and Royals etc?
