Matt,
I am so jealous of you!
I have no doubt you have a 12 inch penis and are built like the terminator.
matt wrote: Regarding the time spent at the gym, of where I attend to socialize some-what also, the actual lifting time accumulated is probably around 30 minutes
Why lead us to think that you spend two hours in the gym lifting, when you really spend three quarters of this time in the shower picking up soap?
I am starting to think that you run only 5 miles of your 20 mile run and drive the rest!
matt wrote: I am not sure what was with all the basic math thrown into the post, it really has no relevance.
I was just trying to explain how you would have no time, or the physical endurance to sustain the level of exercise that you describe!
matt wrote: It is of my opinion, that anyone unable to complete 10 miles within a decent time, and not look like some sort of mutt afterwards, should not attempt to join the military.
I have not suggested that you cannot run 10 miles at a good pace Matt! Nor have I suggested that anyone on this forum cannot run 10 miles at a good pace.
The fact is that you do not say you run 10 miles once a week, or even twice a week. You say that you run 12 - 20 miles 4/5 times a week!

Matt, do you run 10 miles before you post on here?
The reason I ask is that you are sounding like a "mutt" and maybe you should begin to practice what you preach!

Obviously you’re unable to keep my words in the context of which they were used, you decided to pick them apart, and reply in the order you felt would make you look some-what in control, and non defensive, when in conclusion it’s quite the opposite.

A 12 inch penis? Where male genitals came into question I have no idea. Also to mention on your awful usage of the English language, ‘and are built’ – proof read what you post, if you wish to hide the imbecile you are.

Obviously someone like yourself has never stepped foot into a gym. Gyms tend to have soap dispensers now days rather than bars of soap. Oh, I forgot to laugh at your joke, har.

As previously stated, I am not out to prove myself, why would I care what someone with such a meretricious and primitive attitude thinks? I don’t believe anyone of significance would.

I would have no time? Okay then. So you know about my working, social and free-time now do you? You truly are a mind reader. Or it could be the fact that you’re actually speechless, and have nothing worthy to say, so you chose to spout your nonsense.

Well I'm kinda skint, but I don't want to buy cheap shoes and do myself an injury. Someone told me I shouldn't need to spend more than £60.

Nike Air Pegasus. The best running shoes for their money (Around £60).

Read all the reviews you will find and you will see they have been setting the standard for the last few years.

Matt,
All I am saying is that if you do what you say you do every week - good luck to you.
If you are telling everyone a few porkies, then rethink what you do in all that free time of yours.

I have no doubt you will be fit enough for the army selection tests.

Nike air pegasus are the running shoes i bought. They are excellent, but as you can see i still injured myself. It has been a week nearly and my knees feel fine, until i try run.. :(

I am going to see the doctor tomorrow, see what he says. It is probably my running surface, which is some tarmac, mostly woodland though.. alot of hills.

I'm no expert by any means but I know when I get injured I stay away from tarmac and hills.
I have heard that hill running puts more stress on your legs and stuff. Get onto google and do some research - draw your own conclusions. Starting out on a treadmill after an injury is also a wise move.

I have found a pair of women's Nike Air Pegasus trainers on Ebay for £33, including postage. Is this a bargain? They are apparently brand new and still boxed. Will I be able to use my own trainers for PT?

Hyper, sounds good if they are unworn, as long as you've been to a shoe shop and made sure that they fit you correctly first. Shoes tend to mould slightly to individuals feet, so if they've had any more than very light use already I'd stay away.

There's a few pairs, all unworn, different sellers obviously have different prices. Is there a difference between the Nike Air Storm Pegasus and the Pegasus 2002?

Opinions on this pair? Tempted by the freebie...

Take a look at this, should confirm if they're suitable for you:

http://itsmysports.com/store/NIK451.php

It looks like the Pegasus is a range of similar trainers. Can't find a 2002 model, but there is a 2004 one, which is quite a lot more expensive than the ones you're looking at; at this site the ones in your link are just called Nike Air Pegasus:

http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/search.jsp?site ... eUrls=true

Note that that site is also selling them for £30 plus not as much postage as the E-Bay link wants. Obviously doesn't matter if you get them for £20, but comparing to the Buy it Now price, E-bay may not always be the cheapest. Do a search for Nike Air Pegasus on Yahoo or Google.

Thanks for those links Arameis. I have put in a max bid of £25, which would give me a total price of £30 inc. postage. And that's including all the free stuff. If I don't get them at that price I will use one of the suppliers on the Kelkoo link.
I reckon there's a chance, I'm the only bidder on this pair, with one day left. Fingers crossed!

I've managed to get my Nike Air Pegasus trainers for £29, including 24hr delivery, so should have them by the end of the week, providing my cheque clears!
That's about £5 cheaper than the cheapest site I found on the net, and that place didn't have them in my size anyway. Long live eBay!

Be carefull, theres alot of "fake trainers" going around on ebay! you get what you pay for. you would be better advised to go to a specialist running shop and purchase trainners that suit your style of running.
