After attending my interview today both with a Staff Sgt and Sgt Major I'm not too sure I'm making the right career choice.
I thought I had the RA sorted and in my head as THATS what I'm going to do but......
Both said with my qualifications and BARB test score's I should be looking to do something else, more technical along the lines of the Engineering branch on IT/Comms.
I do a kind of technical role just now (all be it, behind a computer all day) and the Sgt Major did comment that I'll be getting paid alot less to begin with (not that it matters) so I dunno what to do???? Also, RA have closed the door's to anymore recruits this year, there are only 'limited' numbers left for intake.
Only other job's that appeal to me are Combat Engineer and Signal although I'm not 100% upto speed on whats really involved. I would be grateful if any of you's guys (or gal's) can tell me more about these career choice's?
