Your training sounds good to me!
When doing the endurance run its split into three bits. The first bit is through the mud and the tunnels. When you come to the first fully submerged tunnel you stop and the instructors talk you through it and then in groups of three you negotiate it! All the other ...

Day two is by far the hardest out of the two!!!! I think most people tend to concentrate on being able to pass the RMFA which is a big mistake. You really need to work hard at your cv! At the start of day two your on the bottom field and trust me even the warm up is hard, one guy on my batch ...

Yes I’m a graduate! I graduated in 2002 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I didn’t do too well in it and didn’t graduate with honours so don’t worry If like me you’re not the smartest person on the planet! I decided to take the year out to chill out for a bit and also I don’t think I ...

POC RMFA

Does anyone have any idea how the scoring works. I know max for each of the four tests is 100.
For example 60 Press Ups = 100, therefore 1 press up = 100/60 = 1.67.
Is this how it works or not?

If you've got a bike get yourself down to argos and buy a bike speedo (£6.99). Once it's set up, which is a piece of piss, cycle a route and the speedo will tell you how far it is! Otherwise get a map and a piece of string and measure it the old fashion way!

I don't live in Westminster, but when I wanted a route (I live in a town, so no countryside but a good supply of parks) I just picked up the A-Z and looked for large empty spaces. If it's labelled as a park, it could be worth considering. And you don't need a three mile route, it's boring but I get ...

Si,
I did Mechanical Engineering at Strathclyde. The course was good in that there were classes in second and third year where as part of a group you had to research an unknown topic and present it the following week, each week for a semester. It helped increase my confidence but the best thing I ...

I really don't think you'll get a place this year. I actually had a POC date for may last year and tried to change it in March when I found out my finals would clash with it. There were no available places and I and got told I'd have to rely on someone dropping out so I just decided to concentrate ...

I've been training for about the past 6 weeks. That leaves me with about 9 weeks to up the pace a really get stuck in. Training wise I was doing everything in the booklet as well as gym (resistance) sessions. I've now ditched the weights due to the advice on this forum and I'm doing three circuits ...

My POC date is the 5th May so I've still got a bit of time left to prepare. To tell you the truth I'll need it because i'm sure I wouldn't pass at the moment.
How long of you been doing the serious preparatory training for?
What can you get on the bleep test?
How's your current affairs?
What are ...

He's not actually gullible, just slightly misinformed. The word 'Tatu' not 'Tatoo' is Russian for girl on girl. Sounds the same, different spelling!

POC current affairs knowledge (some help)

If like me your slightly worried about your current affairs knowledge and sometimes don't have the time to read a quality broad sheet every day, listen to BBC4 and watch the news in order to keep yourself well informed then stop... or at least worry a little less. The BBC news web site (www.bbc.co ...
