"flogging a dead horse" comes to mind. I cant see anyone giving those sort of details of a serviceman over the internet, no matter who you say you are. however if you go to your local recruting office they MAY help you. have you thought though he may have left no contact details for a reason :-?

it all depends on what you want to do. the marines go in and secure the area to allow the likes of the paras to do peace keeping, giving rations out and making sure the locals have drinking water.
