Hiya Lads,

I was talking to my mate yesterday, he is 42 Commando, And i said that i wouldernt mind going FPG after training, he said that he wouldernt advise doing it straight from training, but then he got cut off the internet( he's currently in Afghan), So he never got chance to tell me why! anyone know ??

to be fair i didnt think fpg was a bad draft, there are some good jobs to be done from there. i spent my last 2 years there and its not as bad as its made out.

I haven't been myself, but from what i've heard from most lads, is don't go straight from the box. You will get pure sprog routine all day and all night. Good if you've done a couple of years, especially for phys, as your behind the wire for weeks on end, not much else to do(get a briefing course booked in then) . Also good chance to get on FSRT and catch some pirates :evil:
