Aircrew Swimming
Hi all,
OASC is rapidly approaching now, my fitness is up, ive boggled my mind with god knows how many speed distance times and read more current affiars than i care to mention.
But, im not the strongest swimmer, and was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what the RAF Swimming test ...

Dont forget, as has been mentioned above, that you cannot simply apply for SAR. Your suitability for different roles is measured, you may end up being streamed into fixed wing aircraft, and never even touch the rotary wing stuff. So just remember, you apply as a WSOP and they branch you off into ...

Hi all,
I know very little about this book, other than it concentrates on the extremists located within Britain, terrorist cells etc.
It looks to be quite a good read, just wondered if anyone has read it and their views??

RAF - RN Cross-service Relationship
Hi all,
Im soon to be joining the RAF, and my Gf of a little over a year is joining the RN (God knows why.... :lol: ).
Anyway, after speaking with some other service personnel, they seem to think that to carry on the relationship would be extremely hard, due to the fact wed be stationed all over ...
