Cheers lads.

Yeah after I posted this I yet again gave them a call to get the same answer. It would have been ideal for me to have my PGAC in January but I think i'm looking at early spring now.

Bit of a bugger when your training hard and not even knowing when your going to be tested.

Gunner Recruitment.

This is more of a query than a topic of discussion but I was wondering wether anyone else has heard any different since passing thier AST?

I was told by Liverpool AFCO that the Regiment was not recruiting about 3 months ago (When i had taken my AST) and told to give then a call every month to see ...

Not really going to bother hunting a brand new spanking pair or running shoes mate. I think any will do within reason.
Maybe 15 years of playing sunday league football has hardend my feet up enough because we all know what its like playing on a frozen pitch in the winter!

Yeah cheers i'm just going to use it as more prep time.

Good luck with it anyway mate and let me know if they decide to throw a different activity in to 'surprise' me when i take mine :D

Alright mate welcome,

I'm currently doing my PGAC preperation now myself although i havnt had my date yet.

As far I understand the 3 mile run is round a field so my advice would be to work towards running 4 miles on grass. thats what i'm doing, just find a local field or park and do your best ...

how did your AST go did u pass, and have you got an interview date yet or have they just told that they not taking anyone on at the mo.

Yeah mate passed the AST. They just said that they just said that there not recruiting at this time! :bad-words:

Yeah just that the Regiment isnt recruiting at the moment :-?

I'll be giving them a ring today like to get a bit more info from them but as it stands i'm in limbo! Just got to be patient i think and use the time as a bonus to train/prepare for the PGAC.

If i had it my way i would like to do it ...

Had it earlier this morning, thought it wasnt too bad like but you know fingers crossed anyway!

Going to give the Marines a good crack, it's the psychometric i'm doing but it's same thing as aptitude test isn't it really, apart from yours is more challenging a mate were saying.
Aye good luck too, make sure you eat your weetabix!

Three of my mates have joined the Marines and its definatley ...
