It can be useful, but they don't suffer fools, so think hard before you post a question!

The idea behind all the recent infantry amalgamations is that a battalion will stay in one place for a long period of time, and that soldiers will be posted between battalions to get a wide range of different experiences (ie armoured inf, light role, mechanised etc)
