More out of interest than anything else..
Before I decided on RM I was looking at joining the army, the 2 regiments I was looking at were the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and the RIFLES. had a look on the army website, but havnt been able to find out where or even if they are deployed at the moment, or if they have any upcoming deployments. Anyone know?

Where are they now?
Theres a few posts on here reference one of the Rifles Regiments comming under commando of 3CDO Brig.
Last i heard of the RRF's is that they where helping out when troops where been relieved and replaced in Afghan but that was a few years ago, not sure now!

Forward Troop - CLRRM, Viking Operator and Maintainer. Viking Support Troop out in The Ghan.
1 RRF are in Germany and are off to Iraq in May
2 RRF are in Hounslow having just returned from Cyprus
1 RIFLES are in Chepstow and are deploying later this year with 3 Cdo Bde
2 RIFLES are in Northern Ireland
3 RIFLES are in Edinburgh and are on spearhead
4 RIFLES are in Bulford
5 RIFLES are in Germany
