Agreed.

Also, keep your phys ticking over but don't go in fitter than PRMC level as you may well peak too early in training like me and hangout.

I don't agree with this mate, aslong as you are working flat out in training whether it be field phys or gym work you shouldn't really ever peak

I ...

Ok, I guess you could use regular dumbells but it would seem a better idea to use hexagonal to me, or a rubber mat as Darren suggested. I'd guess the renegade row (on a second look there was no row there, whatever) addition would be to account for the row component of the exercise - if that was ...

WHICH ONE WERE YOU EDDIE ? WHAT ROOM WERE YOU IN?

WHEN YOU STARTING RT?

I was Blue 14 in room 7. I was the one that left the Navy before going for the Marines. I think you're the bloke I might have spoken to on the train home, is that right? You had a stupidly fast PJFT time?

I don't know when ...

There was one guy who had roughly the same scores as you but they failed him and he passed every test because he wasn't right for the corps
PRMC

How come they failed him if you don't mind me asking? Just curious, not panicking in case the same happens to me

I was on this one too. Taken a while but I finally got down there! Enjoyed it and I'm experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms today. I would have been quite happy to crack on with rt there and then.

Found the first day comfortable-8.44 in my run, 55 press-ups, 70 sit-ups, 6 pull ups and completed ...

Just looks like normal man-makers to me, not sure why they are called "renegade" man-makers. And there's no reason why you would need hexagonal dumb-bells, just use your core to keep yourself steady. You could also probably use kettle bells in the movement, although I've never tried it.

Gym Jones ...

I've heard this from a few people on this forum, getting under 9 mins. When I did my pjft I had it on 16k/p/h for the whole time round and I got something like 9.15. Did they let you build up speed before starting the test or somehing? Or maybe it's just a different make of treadmill. :-?

I think we're over there for the right reasons-mostly-but there have been mistakes made. It doesn't help that the Yanks are making all the decisions.

The war hasn't affected my desire to join. The british are always involved in conflicts or "peace keeping" duties, even when it's not in the papers ...

I'll have a crack at that press-up routine. I did something similar with pull-ups (10,9,8,7 etc, 1 min rest between each set) and I improved massively.

If you're absolute crap at pull-ups as i was when i started out, then just do as many as you can for 4 sets. If you cant even do one just hang ...

When I went through a period of over training a little while ago I took all the fast runs out of my programme and started going for longer, more easy paced runs. After a couple of weeks of that I went back to doing 1and half-6 milers again and found that my times had slightly improved. I think this ...

I got 13.8 last time I did it. I was slighty dissapointed because I felt great at around level 12. The only tip I have is to wear trainers with a good grip if you're running indoors.

Can't really help with your eye test mate. Either you'll pass or you wont, it's as simple as that, so there's no point worrying too much.

As for the interview, just relax and be yourself. Answer the questions honestly, play up any sporting achievements(they love that) and tell them you've done some ...
