I’ve not been PRMC but when we do it at school I find the lads that run "around" I.E. at the end of the 20M run in a small semi circle slows them down an awful lot and will take a good bit off you're over all score. try and practice turning on one foot and get that side of the test sorted out.
As for my time ... 4-5 months ago I got 14.2 recon I’d be pushing 15+ by now though
Stokey

Try and keep to the bleep in the early stages so you conserve energy for when the pace starts to step up.
Lots of lads like to rush off straight away to try and "beat" the rest to the line, but all they do is use more engery and you gain nothing from it.
Pacing yourself is the key, if you can keep to the timing of the bleeps you will get into a good rhythm and this will help you get a good score, that is assuming you're fit of course

Well, I'm fit and I get like 11 on bleep test. I hang out on bleeptest but can running for long distances with weight I can do no problem. It depends I guess on what type of fitness your strong at, Explosive or endurance.Alfa wrote:Try and keep to the bleep in the early stages so you conserve energy for when the pace starts to step up.

practise the bleep test is my tip, sounds simple and stupid i know but pratice makes perfect . i knew lads that could get 15-16 on the bleep test on prmc and again in recruit training but when it came down to long marches or runs they struggled.
He who deliberates fully before taking a step will spend his entire life on one leg.
