I just don't see the big problem when people ask a question which is similar to or the same as another?

If you know it is a repeat then why waste your valuble time going into the post and then wasting even more time by replying to it.

I seem to notice 99% of people on this forum are here to help ...

Push ups isn't a problem really, there coming along nicley, I know for them you gotta keep those arms tucked in and get that chest to the floor.

And with the sit ups gotta get those elbows touching the floor and the knees.

It's just the quantity rather than the quality that i'm struggling with, so ...

Sit ups

Holy shit!

I really forgot how bad sit ups are, I havn't been doing very many recently because i've been concentrating more on press ups and pull ups, running, riding et etc.

So recently I decided to get more of a circuit going in my garage, 20 press ups, 1 minute going balls out on the punch bag ...

In_Training.

That's exactly what I have been thinking, I don't wanna go there the first time and be honest with my eye test and fail and then go back and cheat and then pass, I wanna get it over with the first time.

I know I can just scrape through if I just remember that 1 line, and your right ...

We were saying that Royal marines do accept glasses or contact lenses.

I have jsut had my first day at the AFCO and he said to me the Marines have the lowest out of all eyesight standards so if you fail then basically you have no chance of passing any eye test of any military.

Also he said that ...

Yeah, they do accept with glasses or contacts, but my right eye is still spank when I wear contacts.

I'm off to the recruitment office in a bit, anyone know what happens the first time around?

Cheers

The guy that I spoke to on the phone said I passed the distance vision test and was just inside standard 3 or S3. But then he asked my near vision and it was N8 and it needs to be N5.

I don't see what near vision has to do with being a Marine but rules are rules and there pain in the ass right now ...

Obviously yeah I do want the green beret, but that's not the only reason i wanna join the Marines, it jsut fits in perfectly in my life at this point.

It will give me the chance to move out of my home and away from this area, get my to the peak of my physical and mental fitness, and give me alot of ...

Well if I don't cheat then I got no chance of getting in any type of military, fair enough, if I had to memorise the whole eye chart then i would accept my eyesight isn't good enough, but to fail on 1 line i'm not gonna sit down and let it go because of that.

Anyways, if my optician changes my ...
