Our lot go on camp this friday and there's a few who are doing phase 1.
There's no difference from doing it in camp or weekends I'd say except there's a bit more time on w/ends and you have lessons on your drill nights to brush up on the skills or prep for the comming w/end.

Is there anyone on here from Widnes TA centre?
I live near the Warrington barracks(HQ apparently) and they've passed me over to Widnes as they take the recruits(more facilities for training one bloke said).
I'll be showing my face next tuesday.

I've sent off the papers for joining the RMR, I'm 27 and fairly fit......I was told the next selection was september so thats what I'm aiming for.
I'm fairly anxious to talk to fellow RMR's in the local barracks and hopefully ex-regulars for an insight into what level I need to get to fitnesswise ...
