It is best to have webbing tight or loose?? I find when I did my 3 miler with ACF march and shoot. I found that it rattled and started bouncing like a knob jockey! what can I do to stop this. BTW I would never run in webbing on the streets only with a civi backpack full of clothes. I do this because ...

Thanks alot, I am really happy that you can have you feet supported I can do about 60 I do weight a ton though. Also for the runs you webbing is full of what exactly??? Rations, mess tins or weights???

Hi lads, I don't get it. I can hardly do any press ups 35-40 but I can run like the wind! 14 miles in 100 minutes including f@#k off hills. 14 chin ups when I am fresh. I just need to know how they do situps? Basically I mean Are your feet supported or what? Cheers

It is not just a TA training centre, 3 Para was there on some big exercise. I leave the cook house and see a mountain of arms just stacked on top of each other. I asked some of them about what thy though of the life in Para. Some said they enjoyed it others were leaving soon.

LOL, I had some RGJ guys trying to recruit me for their regiment. Seemed like they don't like Paras. They started saying stuff about battle dishonours. One of them was ever younger than me :o . Although not too surprizing. Are there any trade battalions ie engineers or something in the Paras.

Yep I had a sgt from PWRR speak to me about the fitness in the reg infantry. He was quite impressed with my enthusiasm and gave me some books on jobs ion the military. Just a thought but what is the reg pay for Para soldiers who have been through everything?
