What would you REALLY feel if your daughter/son brought one of THEM home and wanted to marry them?

To be honest, I would be at first surprised, but as long as they had a legitable income, looked 'presentable', didn't mess my child around, looked after my child and any of their children, I'll be ...

As far as I know, the Household Cav are at Horse Guards in London. You may of confused RHA with the Royal Horse Guards as they are one of the different rgmts that come under the Cav.

I personally haven't got anything against the Americans; at times you have a 'gun-ho' attitude when it is not neccessarily needed to be, and I think this is derived partly from the attitude of your present president.

But isn't the feeling mutual? I saw a piece in the Telegraph on the American ...

Hmm,

I don't know about any polls taken in Britain, but perhaps those would be more telling than a 'Question Time'.

I'm not being funny - do you know what Question Time is?

Exactly Red, I don't know of much polls - but there was one on CNN.com and on my ISP news channel, and the majority ...

Getting back to the original question. I think this short transcript from Question Time is the majority view of most people:

AUDIENCE MEMBER: "Are British Troops being used by the US as a political pawn?"
DAVID DIMBLEBY: (turning to his left) "Michael?"
MICHAEL HESTELTINE: (short pause, and looking ...

Not no expert Robin  but some might say the 'damage' has been done already. Some people have had to uninstall and reinstall their operating system (is that what you ment by the software?) to make sure the error is not undetected. As far as I know, HP are the pretty much the best when it comes ...
