I had a lecture from the gent who was 'Stan', and his description of his capture is still vivid in my mind some X years after. Some thing like,

It has two assesment dates per year. One in Dec (Sat) and one in June - ish.
They then give you a fitness test and interviews.
You go away and train like a looney, and they are specific on what NOT to do.

It takes a far old time to pass, and you will need to do every other weekend for 2 years. Will your course allow that? A mate of mine went to Newcaslte Uni, joined 23, passed, badged and happy. It worked for him. But he was fit as a butchers dog anyway. As for the "get ...

The problem with laser surgery is this.
PRK (PhotoRefractiveKeptochopny) Is the old form of surgery. Basically a laser is fired at your eye leveling off the front of it. It used to produce a halo effect around your sight picture, like looking out of a dirty windscreen in the rain. They fixed that by ...
