One last question, i promise! Its very important

I went down the caeers office the other day for a presentation thing which really gave me a good insight into the army.

However, whilst watching the presentation it mentioned about asthma.

Now i was given an inhaler back in 2001 because of my heyfever, but i've NEVER needed it or used it.

Anybody had or have this problem?

Ok, now the army is something i've always wanted to do, but never really voiced my ideas or future plans to anyone.

Anyway, i recently told my parents that i would like to join the royal artillery, and, well.... you can guess their reaction.

Background Reading

Anyone know of any good books or vids that detail the history and current operations involving the marines?

I'm still in the early stages of my application, but reading other sources would be good...

Any suggestions? 8)

bullying is at an all time high in the army

I've always wanted to join the army, however, i was speaking to an ex-green jacket today and he said if i was to join as a 'grunt', the chances of me bein bullyed are high :(

The reason for this is my good education and 'good speech'

is this true :-?

Ok, well i think all your reply's are valid, but i think i'll keep on researching!

I personally wouldn't want to be lead by someone who can't make his mind up on such an important career choice.

This is a very good point. I think that my best option would be a private.

I thankyou for your ...
