From what I have been told I will not be able to serve in operations until I have served my probationary period in my rank i.e. 3yrs as Lt.


I think this is a load of balls. I don't think there is a time to serve before going on ops, and it certainly isnt 3 years.

The selection weekend invovles the following manditory tests:

1) 1.5mile Run - cut off time 24hrs

2) Down a pint of lager - cut off time 7 secs

3) Mess 100m Hurdles - best effort

4) Singing of "Tampax Factory" - must know at least 4 verses

5) Quickfire Aftershocks - 5 in a row without falling ...

Its a bunch of CDs that the army puts out every year containing PDF versions of the most up to date PAMs and TAMs. There are 7 cds worth. I think some are Special to Arm, cos I have "Disk 4 of 7 - Artillery" sitting beside me here.

Says on the back :

I've tried the infantry TAM, the electronic battlebox, and on the web but can't find anything.
