It's hard to say this without being biased, but with reference to chunky's post about these martial arts not being helpful in 'real life', just about the only martial art which is actually useful in a no-holds-barred fight, is Jeet Kune Do.
This isn't a bite aimed at the martial artists out there ...

The nice chaps at CTC said i could go into hunter but if i came out and sought civvy help, the process would move along quicker...
It felt hard watching my troop coming back in off their first ex, carrying bergans etc, while i was sitting in my civvies ready to go...

Well that has severely put a dent in my self esteem, i get through the first week of admin and bulls**t and the emotions that go with it, only to be medically discharged at the start of week 2 with a f**ked back :cry: .
