pardon my ignorance, but I'm not familiar with the term 'CTC'. Are you talking about how to dress for an interview or how to dress for arrival at the Phase 1 training centre (catterick in my case).

Cheers

C7..ahhh beauty! Got to handle (sadly not fire) one of those whilst on a visit to Warminster last winter. They had one in the small arms museum.

If you're a bit of a weapons-buff, that place is a must-see. Small arms heaven :D

cheers for the honest advice twentyone :)
I think I gave the wrong impression...I'm 'lazy' when I can afford to be i.e. playing the waiting game for as long as I've been (which was pretty dispiriting at times). When it was necessary, I've always done what was required of me or more (most recent eg ...

that OCI-whateveritscalled is one badass rifle. Except its not really a rife, more a grenade launcher that occaisionally shoots the odd 5.56 :)

The SA80 isnt all that bad, its remarkeably difficult to miss anything with it up to about 300m. If it fires, that is :D :P

They probably can, but it depends on what their superiors say/availablilty of places/whether you're needed elsewhere. But yes, you can.

If you want to be a Commando officer, might as well join the marines (be advised, its tough). But then again, who wants to join the marines anyway ;) ?
