i would personaly pic fartlek just because you can run your normal route and do it, as appose to running round a 600m route and having a break, with fartlek you can just do it on your usual 3/6 mile route and plus you have no breaks inbetween sprints.

Also, don't confuse loosing weight with loosing body fat. If you are loosing fat, but gaining a bit of muscle, the scales may tell you there has been no change, when there has been.

Don't let it bother you mate, I'm one of those people built like a brick out house. I used to be 17.9 stone, but after 6 months I'm down to 15.9 and hit the wall there. I think there comes a point when you get to your natural build and because it's not just excess flab it's harder to get rid of it ...
