George is at peace now and our thoughts are with Pauline, Jacqueline,

I was priviliged to have known George Martin and attended his funeral in Glasgow last wednesday (24 July).It was organised by George Martin his namesake and fellow signaller from way back.Suffice to say it was the epitome of organisation. A piper from Edinburgh and a Royal Marine Cpl Bugler from RM Band Scptland provided the very necessary atmosphere.
On completion of the commital we were afforded the hospitality of RMR Scotland. Thanks guys its nice to know that the family still exisits for those who have left the Corps. George would have enjoyed the day himself. Our condolences go to Pauline and family.
