Re: Barrack Tales
Spring 1983, A Coy, XMG.
I was hanging around the Ops room when the intercom kicked off.
"Hello Ops room, this is Baruki sangar over."
Duty officer "Ops room, send over."
"Baruki, C/S*** is involved in an altercation in the square, over."
Duty officer "Ops room, who else is involved over?"
"Baruki, no one. The Team commander is giving Marine ***** a kicking over!"
The team commander later became an RSM (I had a few beers with him at the 30th re-union) and the Duty Officer later became his CO and ultimately the CG.
