Hi everyone,
It's good when you find a place where others might be experiencing the same problems, I am a Falklands veteran who has had PTSD for the last 20 years, I got treatement about 7 years ago from a civvie GP, unfortunatley the window of oportunity that the Mod had to treat myself and many others was firmly slammed in our faces.

I wont make a long winded first post I am to chinstrapped to tell you the truth, but you can learn more about me from my web site at http://britains-smallwars.com/Mac/index.html I have a Yahoo group I started predominantly for Brit vets although anyone is welcome, I found a lot of understanding from American Vietnam vets, and they gave me the idea for something in the UK, I wanted a place were vets with PTSD could chat unashamedly, because I believe that the interaction between sufferers is worth its weight in gold, I could not beleive the millions of other people who suffer with PTSD, it may not cure you but you dont feel a freak, infact it just means we are all really human beings and not machines. If you go to my web site then click on `chat room` you can read the messages, but you need a yahoo e-mail addy to post which you can get free. The URL for the group is http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/cloudpuncherptsd/
I like to write poetry and you can read some at http://www.postpoems.com/members/mack619/

Anyway I think thats enough of an introduction. I hope tommorow is good day for you all

Mack. :painting:
