Hi Everyone!
I'm new to the forum. Currently applying to join the RAF as a Musician since before Christmas, I have passed all stages and did my audition last week and got through which I'm so pleased about. The next stage is the 3 day PRTC course at Halton, I don't have the dates yet. I tried the beep test today for the first time ever and it was harder than I thought so I need to get training even harder as I found the 1.5mile on the treadmill ok (I passed the first fitness last week).
Does anyone have any advice on improving for the beep test?
Also, has anyone done the PRTC recently that can let me know how it went and if it is what they expected? As I have come quite far in the process I really need to pass this 3 days, does anyone know if you fail any element of the 3 days you have to start the whole application again after 6 months including the music audition? Or can you re-do the PRTC?
Any help or comments would be much appreciated at this point!
Thanks
Anna
