You will conduct your basic training in the Grob Tutor and/or Hero in which your flying conduct and attitude and opinion are evaluated by an instructor. Once you finish the basic flight course you sit Dow. With a high ranking (Flt Lt+) officer in which he goes over your flying style and skill. He will the decide, after an interview whether to send you to fast jet, multi engine or rotary training.
Fast Jet training will send you too RAF Linton on Ouse flying the Tucano;
Multi engined will send you too RAF Cranwell on the King Air;
Rotary will send you to RAF Shawbury on the Squirrel.
