What is the British Army IDST
Just got back from the Army Careers Office and the guy there said i had a IDST in a few weeks. He said its some kind of fitness test, but there is nothing about a IDST on the army website.

Maybe he means ADSC, the basic bulk standard army selection course.

IDSC is a practice day sometimes a weekend, it's so you get an idea of what to expect from the actual ADSC, not all Careers Offices do this, and you may find that some have certain standards that must be achieved before being allowed to progress onto ADSCstepehn1993 wrote:Just got back from the Army Careers Office and the guy there said i had a IDST in a few weeks.
