I'm new to this forum, and fairly new to all things RAF.
I recently did my AST and although I got a realy good score overall, I was one mark short on the work rate section for the trade I was intrested in
(Air traffic control officer). After the test one of the AFCO staff had a chat with me about taking the test again in six months, or choosing a differnt trade. The other jobs they suggested (and I am intrested in finding out more info if anyone does them as a job) are Logistics officer and Flight opperations officer.The main question I wanted to ask is 'how often to differnt officer jobs become availlable?' as these two arn't currently. How long of a wait would I be in for?
