What can one say about this, are they saying there is not a spot in any military cemetery that they could have put these remains, rather than put them in the rubbish.

This is not entirely new some service people have been wrongly identified in the past and re-buried when the mistake was discovered but this seems to have been covered up for some reason which,right now is beyond me.I did originally suspect some mud slinging as we are entering a Presidential election year and the gloves are off.So far there has been no response from the White House.
For the most part the USA covets their lost or injured soldiers hence the VA and VFW.
There is also Arlington National Cemetery formerly the estate of Confederate General Robert E Lee.

Can't find it right now but it was the epitome of respect for the Fallen.
