Thinking of joining

Post by cnjnh »

As title says.... As you can gather, I have a couple of questions though.

Iam primarily wanting to join the RAF Regiment!

1. Can you still join if you are allergic to Penicillin??

2. Do other allergies bar entry?? (Eg. Hayfever etc.)

3. What time of year do you typically start initial training? Ive read, in the past, people have started in October and wondered if this was the only time you start, or, do some start at other times of year, aswel?

Thanks for your time and effort!

There are other posts in the Army section re penicillin. Hay fever well that depends on just how bad it is and what medication you have been prescribed in pass for it,

Ok, thanks. Do you know what medication would be a problem or bar entry, exactly? As, I think I may have been prescribed a few things for hayfever years ago!

I see. Not your job, so you wouldn't want to comment and possibly get it wrong, thats fair enough. I will try and get in touch with the relevant medical staff then. Thanks
