FIRE STRIKE 7/9 is about the 180 day tour of SGT Grahame a JTAC. SGT Grahame calls in danger close Air on a regular basis at times only 20m-30m away. Theres humourous parts, at one time he is left accidently overnight at an ANP Checkpoint. The checkpoint was attacked and some of the ANP flee. I dont want to give away what happens but its great book and worth a read.
'Being a JTAC is the closest a soldier on the ground in the midst of battle can get to feeling like one of the gods- unleashing pure hellfire, death and destruction' Duncan Falconer (SBS)
