Alright, well I'll start off saying a bit about myself. I'm 17, born and bred in Canada. I've been interested in the military since before I can remember. At first I was going to join the Canadian Forces, but as time went on I felt that the Canadian Forces wouldn't allow me to reach my full potential. So since finding out that Canadians can join UK Armed Forces under the commonwealth, Ive pretty much decided that's what I want to do.
-Ive talked to Royal Marine recruiters, and they are sending me one of those information packs, do the paras have something like that?
-Does the parachute regiment often recruit non British citizens? Are they recruiting at all?
-How long (on average) does the entire recruitment process take?
That's all that come to mind at the moment, but I'm sure I had more when I thought of making this thread.
Ill post more later.
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Canadian with a couple questions
There are people in the Para's from all over the place, last time I visited them there were a lot of South Africans in it.
