Should i start tabbing before i start at depot? and how many miles should i be running? iv been running 5 miles.

Stick with the running, do some walking in boots to toughen up your feet but don't run around with weights on your back other than a daysack (light)!

Just do as Timex says....Get fit and get into Basic training and they will work you up to it.

5 to 15 mile every night. obviously vary the length you do and the intensity you train.
ensure rest days are chucked in or you will over train.
eat and drink loads and get plenty of shut eye at night.
dont bother tabbing before you get there, not worth the risk. besides you will either find tabbing easy or you wont. If you want to train with a pack on get out to the hills and go hiking.
