General recruitment and training questions

Post by WOW! That hurt. »

I recognize some of these questions may be have been answered in other areas of the forum, but quite frankly, I've received alot of contradictary info, so your patients would be greatly appreciated.

1. Do tatoos below neck the line and above the wrists impair elegibility for any SF group? and if so what groups?

2. The local recruiter told me that the 1.5 mile had to be run in under 9:40, but multiple sources [including here, i believe.] informed me in under 9:13

3. Is there any other PT interview tasks i must complete barring the 1.5 miler, 60 sit ups and press ups in under two min?

Training input:

Former and current soldiers of all walks, including former Airborne and SF have told me that doing squats [with weight] would be worth my while, as it would help me propel my "skinny ass up a hill" with weight.
Is this worth my while?

I already have an aggressive cardio training cycle, should i move somethings around to accomodate the strength training?

If that is not worth my time does anyone know of anything i should add my training schedule?

Again, Thank you for your patients with these questions.
