So what do you all think about this new Uniform?
For Troops in Afghanistan first...but is it actually going to be the new issued uniform to the Armed Forces? Replacing current DPMs?

Heard a rumour we were meant to be getting it in 2012, but won't be holding my breath. Besides, won't make much difference to me, as a flying suit in that pattern would just look ridiculous!
Guessing we'll be sticking to our current choice of green or 'pink'...
Hope we do all get the new kit, it would half the amount of space taken up in my house by military gear. The question shouldn't be when are getting it though, it should be... When will we see the first chavs on the street in it?

You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

Thats easy to answer. it will be around the 15th of the month just as some young Private finds he has spent his wages and hops off down to the local army/navy store

Re: Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) Uniform
MTP is not too bad, just got issued it for my next tour. managed to get some new Blackhawk Multicam pouches and a great new Blackhawk Hydration/rucksack in Multicam from Intelligent Armour; they are well worth a look for any kit, not just Multicam!
