Hi everyone. Im Nathan and im 21 from Cornwall. Im new to the forum so just wanted to say hi.

Ive got my B.A.R.B tomorrow, just looking forward to getting the whole process started now :D

Hey. Im looking to go in as a driver, ill just have to see how well i do tomorrow. Im feeling ok about it now, but im sure nerves will crop up tomorrow :( lol

The BARB test isn't that bad mate, as long as you look through the booklet you AFCO should have given you, it will be fine!

You have just got to try and get the best score possible because recruiting is mega busy at the minute so they are just selecting the best! 8)

What sort of driver mate?

I think the only section, i need to go over a little more is the shape rotation but other than that im pretty confident with the rest.

Im looking at infantry driver, if i cant then driver in the RLC

Yeah the shapes pickle your head a little bit.... :lol:

How's the fitness side of things going? There are loads of tip and advice on here about getting fit and stuff! :D

Shape Rotatation is a pain in the ass.. I think everyone struggles with that..

Yeah fitness is going ok, havent really done anything these last couple days. Ive been filling in my application forms and going through the BARB booklet.

There is 1 question ive got about fitness/workout training.

Ive got a couple fitness training booklets from when i got some information on the RAF regiment gunner, would it be any good using them instead of coming up with 1 on my own?

Yeah mate, defo.

When I did mine I used that one, the Royal Marines one, the Para one and the Army one.

Hi everyone, had my BARB today, scored 62 not sure how good that is. Got to go back next week to go through my jobs.

Did your recruiter not give you a list when you finished your BARB???
He should have given you your Med docs too???
62 is a good score Do you have any GCSEs??

No, didnt get no list. Got my medical forms though. I was asked to go back next week to go through the jobs.

Ive got some GCSE's but never recieved my certificates, waiting to here from my secondry school about getting them. Cant remember if their any good though :-?

you should have easily got enough for driver if i remember rightly. huge tip though get your fitness up it will make it sooo much easier when you go to basic. good luck m8y
