what training have you been doin for para

this is just for everyone to see wot type of training everyone has been doing...... if it is been running more than body work or swimmming more than running :)

got my prac in 2 weeks time... a think am ready a can get my run time to 8.15 and 60 push ups on 70 sit ups.. pull ups can do 13 ..... a run 6 miles every day but its an a flat road not much hills.... am only 5'10 and weight about 10.5 not that big.... but a feel stronge but dont look it lol

You should have posted this on the Para section mucker. Sounds like you should be ok with PRAC mate.

If you get through you could get a start date the same as me.

Would try and get some hills in on your runs though mate, there are plenty at Catterick! :D

yeah sorry am new and never knew that or where to post stuff will know for the future :)

yeah got a route with a few hills now lol not the biggest tho!

yeah you still need to do prac buddy ?

No mate, got my date straight from ADSC. I've been in before so got told I didn't need to go up to Catterick. Feel a bit awkward now though because loads of lads who are in the application process have asked this. :oops:

Think I might have to get some of my mates to beast me for 3 days so I feel a bit better! :lol:

You need to be running alot, not just a gentle jog, get out your comphat zone. Also doing alot of pressups will give a leg up when your there.
